The Conflux price soared 39% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.2587 as of 4:50 a.m. EST on trading volume that skyrocketed 285% to $590.14 million.

The CFX price surge was enough to make the crypto the leading gainer in the market.

The Conflux price started its surge late yesterday, after trading sideways between $0.18 and $0.19 for most of the day. The token initially approached a resistance at $0.20, which held it from going further up for about nine hours, only for it to then skyrocket past it around midnight, breaking the resistance and skyrocketing to $0.2712.

This was followed by a brief correction to $0.25, only for the token to start recovering again, which allowed it to climb back up to $0.2587 at the time of writing. Its Bollinger Bands have seen a massive widening over the last several hours thanks to the sharp surge, and they still remain extremely wide, even though the price has dipped slightly and is no longer pushing the upper band.

The token’s Relative Strength Index (RSI), on the other hand, is still in the overbought zone. It soared yesterday from the value of 30 at the edge of the oversold area, reaching the neutral value of 50, and then going up to 70. It then dropped back down to 50 as some traders took profit, not expecting the price to go higher than that.

However, a new wave of investors and traders pumped the RSI to nearly 90 over the last few hours, only for some to once again sell early. However, many are still optimistic and new buyers are still entering the charts, so the RSI managed to resist and stay in the overbought zone for over 6 hours now.
