CoinDepo is changing the Daily and Annual rates on its interest accounts effective November 8, 2026. The adjustments bring offered yields into tighter alignment with the actual earnings generated by each supported asset, and also the length of time funds are left on the platform.
Interest payments to CoinDepo clients are produced by allocating deposits across a range of lending-centered activities. As of the end of the second quarter of 2026, overcollateralized crypto lending made up 37% of deployed capital while microcredit programs made up 24%. The remainder was directed toward private-market and real-world investments, stablecoin yield approaches, market-neutral trading approaches, and liquidity pools.
Income from this mix covers the interest distributed to clients, operating costs, and liquidity buffers. These activities involve counterparty risk, credit risk, and market risk.
Specific Rate Adjustments
Daily rates are being lowered across all 30 assets that appear in CoinDepo’s primary comparison table. EURC holds steady at its existing 10% Daily rate. For USDT and USDC, Daily rates change from 17% to 15% and Annual rates move from 23% to 22%. For BTC and ETH, Daily rates adjust from 12% to 11% while Annual rates remain unchanged at 18%.
Across the full set of 30 assets, the gap between Daily and Annual rates expands from six percentage points to seven. The scale of the individual shifts varies. FIL’s Annual rate, for example, moves from 18% to 12% as part of the reset applied to longer-term structures.
How Deposit Length Impacts Deployment
When clients maintain shorter deposit periods, a larger share of capital must stay in readily available form so withdrawals can be processed quickly. This reduces the portion that can be directed into higher-returning lending and investment activity. Longer and more consistent deposit periods allow capital to be matched more closely to those opportunities. The expanded difference between Daily and Annual rates reflects the greater extent to which capital can be fully deployed under longer commitments.
Daily accounts continue to be offered for clients who prefer uninterrupted access to their funds.
What Happens to Accounts That Are Already Open?
Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual accounts that are already in place will continue at their existing rates until the current term finishes. The updated rates apply only to new accounts opened after November 8 and to accounts that renew after that date.
A complete before-and-after comparison is available in CoinDepo’s Earn rate update, together with the platform’s business disclosures covering activities that generate client interest.
