The Worldcoin price has pumped by 52% in the last 24 hours to trade at $11.6 as of 7:35 p.m. EST. 

The pump comes after the Worldcoin (WLD) team decided to delay the next grant program round until March 25, coinciding with the NVIDIA-backed GTC AI Conference 2024. According to @thiccyth0t on X, the move removes $150 million worth of new supply that was “priced in” by markets.

Worldcoin Price Prediction: Is A Correction Coming?

Looking at the WLD charts, we notice an initial rise in the Worldcoin price before entering into a consolidation period as characterized by the ascending channel. However, amid the overbought conditions witnessed during the pump, Worldcoin is now headed to what seems like a correction as seen from the last series of red candle stick patterns. On top of this, the Worldcoin price is now headed for a crossover below the support level. Should bears push the price below this level, a massive correction could follow.

This is supported by the Average Directional Index, an indicator used in gauging trends, which currently holds a value of 24, indicating that the current bullish trend is losing strength. The MACD indicator is also moving in the red zone as its histograms increase in size also suggesting shifting momentum from bullish to bearish.
