Ethereum, the blockchain network powering Ether and renowned in the NFT market for hosting most blue-chip non-fungible token collections, has been this month’s second top-traded NFT blockchain network. In the past 30 days, the Ethereum-based NFT collections have recorded a trading sales volume of $165 million. Ethereum NFT sales have plunged 55% from the past month.
Solana, a public, open-source blockchain that supports smart contracts, including non-fungible tokens and various decentralized applications, has been this month’s third most-traded NFT blockchain network. In the past 30 days, the Solana-based NFT collections have recorded a trading sales volume of $93 million. Solana NFT sales have dropped 48% from the past month.
Blast, an Ethereum Layer Two blockchain network from the Blur NFT market platform team, and Polygon, an Ethereum scaling solution, were May’s fourth and fifth most-traded NFT blockchains.
