Nineteen users of Predict Fun, a BNB Chain prediction market, were drained of roughly $260,000 in an incident analysts reported on Tuesday, October 27.

As Protos first reported, the platform has not commented; the outlet said it reached out to Predict Fun for comment and has not received a response. The analysts, posting on X, said the taken funds were bridged from BNB Chain to Ethereum and then forwarded to Tornado Cash, a mixer that obscures transaction trails and makes recovery close to impossible. The platform’s own systems have not been confirmed as the attack vector, and the cause is unstated.

What makes this incident stand out is where the platform sits inside the Binance orbit. Predict Fun is a Polymarket-style prediction market on BNB Chain, built by former Binance staff. In December 2025, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao publicly welcomed it to the chain, disclosing that it was incubated and invested in by YZi Labs, the group formerly known as Binance Labs. He added a disclaimer that his post was not an endorsement.

That pattern is familiar to anyone who follows BNB Chain launches: a founder’s post attaches a household name to a young platform, and the disclaimer, however explicit, does little to stop retail users from reading a halo into it. The post now reads as a caution marker on the exact platform whose users are reportedly losing money, and the wider story about Binance’s ecosystem influence has rarely involved money leaving users’ wallets this directly.

Scale puts the loss in perspective. Predict Fun generated just over $9 million in 2026 earnings, on the figures DefiLlama records, so the roughly $260,000 drained from the identified victims is a small fraction of the platform’s annual revenue. The material risk for the platform is not the dollar amount, it is the trust damage: a prediction market that holds user collateral while markets resolve has to prove it can protect those funds, and 19 simultaneous drains suggest it has not yet done so.

Draining incidents remove funds from user wallets without authorisation, often via an exploit or an approved contract, and how the approvals were obtained here is unknown. The attacker consolidated the proceeds to one receiving address before bridging them, which is how the analysts were able to link all 19 victims to a single incident. Whether Predict Fun’s interface, a third party, or user-side phishing is responsible is not established. The episode fits a pattern this site has followed, including a recent wallet draining incident that hit a hardware wallet reseller.

The analyst Naeven urged Predict Fun users on Tuesday to bridge any funds they still hold on the platform out, a warning issued while the drains were still being counted.
