As more and more crypto traders continue to cross over to online poker amid the lull in the broader market, CoinPoker is becoming one of their preferred destinations, all thanks to its global accessibility, over $7 million in monthly CoinRewards, and back-to-back tournament action.
The tournament schedule since the beginning of the year, for example, has been packed with high-profile festivals, such as the World Poker Masters and the Battle of Malta Online.
Interestingly, the latter was wrapped up earlier this week, awarding more than $30 million in crypto prizes, unique trophies, and 100 packages to the 2026 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition, scheduled for this October.

According to the announcement, the series is billed to run from August 23 to September 28, 2026, and will feature regional schedules to accommodate players across Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
The biggest draw? A $50,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, more than 700 Medal Events, a $3,000,000 guaranteed Main Event, and $350,000 in added value through promotions and leaderboards, all of which Mario Mösbock believes could position it as “the hands down best Online Poker Series Experience.”

CoinPoker Offsetting the Crypto Market Lull With Steady Major Poker Tournaments
Ever since its March 2nd software update, CoinPoker has kept crypto players busy with a steady run of high-stakes tournament series that have helped offset the quiet mood in the trading market.
Unsurprisingly, each of those tournaments recorded impressive turnouts. For example, the World Poker Masters alone attracted nearly 430,000 registrations and 578,000 entries across 781 events.
In the end, more than $48 million in crypto prizes were paid out, with tournament regular amridiab topping the earning chart with $548,363.
Similar success was replicated at the Battle of Malta Online Series, rolled out in collaboration with Battle of Malta, one of Europe’s most respected live poker brands.
Across both series and even other signature tournaments at the site, players received their winnings without delay, further underscoring CoinPoker’s strong crypto foundation.
Now, by the end of its upcoming Global Online Poker Championship, the Bitcoin poker site will have awarded more than $133 million in tournament prizes across its three major 2026 crypto series, a milestone only a few competitors can match.
That championship has already become the talk of the poker town, even though the full schedule remains unavailable as of today.
But, as mentioned earlier, it is structured in such a way that players can join at their convenience, regardless of location.
Three regional tournament schedules will be used throughout the event, each anchored to primetime in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Hence, it’s little wonder that reputable industry publications such as CardPlayer dubbed it the “Olympics of poker.”

The next highlight is the three buy-in tiers, giving every player the opportunity to compete throughout the series.
But days before the championship rolls out, specifically on August 17, CoinPoker will launch 3-Bet Club, a premium membership program that gives subscribers access to tournament discounts, priority support, boosted rewards, and other exclusive benefits.
At the same time, $1M CoinMillion will continue on the first Sunday of every month, including during the GOPC, giving players even more opportunities to chase down substantial winnings.
A Glimpse of What to Expect From the Upcoming GOPC
A handful of major events for the championship have already been confirmed ahead of the release of the full schedule. Let’s dive into some of them:
Three Main Events
Headlining the GOPC series are its three Main Events, structured to accommodate every bankroll. They include:
The $530 Main Event – $3,000,000 GTD
The $530 Main Event will feature the championship’s largest guarantee: $3,000,000.
Players will compete for a share of this prize pool, alongside Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals across Day 1 and Day 2 flights.
Already, Day 1 flights have been scheduled mostly for Sundays, though there will be three additional flights on other days to create more qualification paths.
Day 2 of this event will take place on the final day of the championship, September 28th at 17:30 UTC.
The $55 Global Main – $1,000,000 GTD
The second tier of the GOPC Main Event is the $55 Global Main, where players will compete for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals as well as a share of the $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Similarly, winners will earn a place in the Hall of Champions, adding a layer of prestige to the title.
Players can join the Day 1 flights daily, from the commencement of the GOPC series.
Day 2 will be held on September 21st at 17:30 UTC, featuring all surviving players from Day 1.
The $11 Mini Main – $250,000 GTD
Players with smaller bankrolls can also look forward to the third tier of the GOPC Main Event, dubbed the $11 Mini Main.
Much like the Global Main, Day 1 flights for this event will run daily. Players who make it through will qualify for Day 2, scheduled for September 21, where they will battle for the title, digital awards, and a share of the $250,000 prize pool.
700 Medal Events
Per the details available, the GOPC will feature more than 700 medal events, each awarding Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals to the top three performers.
What makes these events even more valuable is the opportunity for Gold winners to receive physical awards alongside digital versions in their CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet.
As for second and third finishers, they will also receive permanent Trophy Cabinet awards.
Every medal earned in any of these events contributes points toward the GOPC Podium Race.
$350,000 in Additional Prizes through GOPC Promotions and Leaderboard
Another key highlight is the $350,000 in additional rewards integrated into the series, creating more value beyond the guaranteed prize pools.
Of that amount, $250,000 has been allocated to Comeback Lanes, $80,000 to Top Ten Leaderboards, and the remaining $20,000 to the Podium Race.
Players can benefit from these extra rewards regardless of their results.
For example, the $250,000 Comeback Lanes incentivize players for their activeness throughout the championship, even if they do not win.
As for the $80,000 Top Ten Leaderboards, rankings will be determined by players’s ten best tournament results throughout the series. There will be separate leaderboards for high, mid, and low tier events to give every player an equal chance of qualifying for a share of the $80,000 in prizes.
Then, finally, the Podium Race provides another opportunity for every medal winner to compete for a share of the $20,000 prize pool.
The $215 CoinMillion GOPC Edition
The next CoinMillion edition falls directly inside the GOPC, specifically on September 6, featuring a $215 buy-in and $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Other similar events scheduled for the same date include the $55 CoinMillion and the $11 Mini CoinMillion, carrying guaranteed prize pools of $250,000 and $100,000, respectively.
