A meme coin frenzy has erupted around “Broccoli” meme coins after former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, aka CZ, revealed his dog’s name in a post on X.<\/span><\/p>\n

Popular meme coin platforms such as Pump.fun and BNB Smart Chain’s Four.Meme have seen an influx of new tokens named after Zhao’s Belgian Malinois canine.<\/span><\/p>\n

CZ Says He Is Not Launching His Own Meme Coin<\/span><\/h2>\n

While CZ<\/a> appeared to be contemplating launching his own meme coin, he<\/span> said in the Feb. 13 X post that he decided not to proceed. “I am NOT issuing a meme coin myself,” he said. <\/span><\/p>\n

He added that it is up to the community whether they want to launch a token inspired by Broccoli or not.<\/span><\/p>\n
