This comes after the company&rsquo;s latest Bitcoin buy on Jan. 6, which saw the firm spend $101 million to add 1,070 BTC to its reserves when the crypto was priced at $94,004.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">MicroStrategy has acquired 1,070 BTC for ~$101 million at ~$94,004 per bitcoin and has achieved BTC Yield of 48.0% in Q4 2024 and 74.3% in FY 2024. In the past month, BTC&rsquo;s price has undergone a more than 7% <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">correction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to trade at $94,213.46 as of 1:12 a.m. EST.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The crypto is also 13% down from the all-time high of $108,268.45 that it set on Dec. 17, 2024. This correction has impacted MicroStrategy&rsquo;s share price, which has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/finance\/quote\/MSTR:NASDAQ?sa=X&amp;ved=2ahUKEwi5lLrPg_KKAxVUXUEAHW0jEr4Q3ecFegQIRRAf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">retraced<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> more than 19% over the past month.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The professor of finance at Marquette University, David Krause, recently warned that a steep drop in BTC&rsquo;s price could have a catastrophic effect on MicroStrategy&rsquo;s share price.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krause went as far to warn that a sudden downward price swing for BTC could result in a bankruptcy liquidation for MicroStrategy. Despite the warnings, Saylor remains committed to his BTC strategy. The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/insidebitcoins.com\/news\/us-government-dumps-6-5-billion-silk-road-bitcoin-stash-after-doj-greenlight\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin<\/span><\/a><span
