The change come in the wake of Durov&rsquo;s arrest, and accusations from the French authorities that Telegram facilitates illegal activities, including child pornography and drug trafficking.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img4.eadaily.com\/r650x400\/o\/baa\/807071f641bc50c10b6901565f6c8.jpeg\" alt=\"Pavel Durov was nominated for the Nobel Prize &mdash; EADaily, August 27th, 2024 &mdash; Society, Russia\"><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durov Acts On His Promise To Introduce Changes To Telegram<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durov c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">riticized the French authorities following his release from police custody, and said the charges are without merit. After plunging 15% in the last month, Toncoin has climbed more than 3% in the last 24 hours to trade at $4.80 as of 8:47 a.m. EST.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The market capitalization for meme coins in the TON ecosystem also pumped 4% in the past day.
