Gala Games&rsquo; has its native token, GALA, which is used to secure the platform and incentivize players.<\/p>\n<p>The Gala Games platform features various gaming tiers, including real-time strategy (RTS), multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), role-playing game (RPG) titles and more. Even though these gaming tiers differ considerably between titles, each tier rewards players with digital assets, including the GALA and non-fungible tokens.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the Gala Games runs on the Ethereum blockchain network, the gaming platform has partnered with other chains in the Ethereum ecosystem, like Polygon, an Ethereum scaling solution, to allow its players to send and trade their crypto and non-fungible token collections at reduced gas fees.<\/p>\n<p>In the coming weeks or months, the Gala Games team anticipates shifting operations to its autonomous blockchain network, GalaChain, after the official mainnet launch. GalaChain is powered by the GALA token.
