Gambling technology supplier OpenBet will promote Chief Product Officer Nikos Konstakis to Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2026, with Acting Group CEO Jordan Levin moving into a Chairman role.
OpenBet said in its announcement that Konstakis will lead the company’s vision and day-to-day business, focusing on growth delivery and target prioritisation, while Levin shifts to shaping long-term strategy. Konstakis has spent more than eight years at the company, holding several senior executive positions before taking charge of its product.
According to OpenBet’s press release, Levin said Konstakis has already been instrumental in driving the evolution of the company and that he has tremendous confidence in his leadership as CEO. “We have an exceptional customer base, a great team and significant opportunities ahead of us,” Konstakis said, adding that his focus would be on bringing greater pace to the business.
The handover comes as OpenBet sets its course after independence. The company completed its management buyout from Endeavor following a deal reported in November 2024, and a week before the succession was announced it had moved to acquire OmniLogic, a sportsbook technology provider, as part of a push into the global lottery market. Konstakis will therefore take charge with an acquisition still in progress; terms and a closing date for the OmniLogic deal have not been disclosed.
The exact effective date of the CEO change beyond the end of 2026 has not been given, and OpenBet has not said who will fill the Chief Product Officer role.
