Space Yacht stands as an international party brand, and is currently gearing towards dropping its second non-fungible token (NFT) artwork collection. It will do so by way of the Nifty Gateway marketplace.

Pizzas, Smileys, And Hidden Expletives

This latest collection has been titled the “Space Yacht Iconography Collection”, and features three of the brand’s core themes within the NFTs: Smiley faces, pizzas, and the “WE ARE SO F☻CKED” trademarked motto.

Alongside this, the artwork will also boast original music incorporated with it, composed by Rami Perlman, the co-founder of Space Yacht who also goes by LondonBridge.

Improvise, Adapt, Overcome (For Event Brands)

It was just twelve months ago when Space Yacht was forced to grind to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to the pandemic, it was known for organizing an excess of 150 electronic dance music (EDM) events across the world every year. However, in every loss, there is an opportunity, and as the entire events industry all but shut down, Space Yacht as a brand opted to do a complete pivot to the digital space. It did this by way of launching a record label, signing on the very artists that would’ve opened up at their various events.

Further innovations came in the summer, when Space Yacht dropped its first collection of NFTs. This first collection stood as a collaboration project with Goldweard, a renowned digital artist. It was just a matter of time before these NFTs were the fastest-selling of its kind within the NFT marketplace, Nifty Gateway, selling 230 pieces in under an hour.

Allowing For Art In All Its Forms

With its second NFT collection, the brand clearly hopes to build on its success with this new iconography collection.

It should be noted that Perlman himself stands as a collector of physical art, doing so for the past 15 years. In his eyes, digital art just stands as an extension to his collection, and he views it as a potential means to generate new revenue streams for both artists and musicians alike.

Perlman explained that this sort of space needs more people to give it more viability for the future. Perlman expressed that Space Yacht is convinced that NFTs will become a force to be reckoned with in the industry at large, allowing artists and musicians to monetize their work in brand new ways.

The crypto world at large has long since held a special place for pizza in its heart thanks to a historical event where 10,000 BTC was traded for two large pizzas. However, the trend with Space Yacht’s pizza themes has nothing to do with that. Instead, it has to do with the fact that the brand always gives out free pizzas at 1 am on its dance floors.
