Dogecoin DOGE

During the recent bull run, dogecoin’s performance has been underwhelming, given that it was a favourite altcoin during the May bulls. However, dogecoin could have failed to register new highs, given that bitcoin also failed to register major gains. Dogecoin usually follows Bitcoin’s trend, hence the failure of the coin to move to new highs.

DOGE is trading at $0.239 at the time of writing after a 3% dip in 24 hours.

DOGE Price Analysis

The crypto market has been on a major pullback, and DOGE has given in to this bearish pressure and gone to new lows. With the current dips, DOGE is edging closer to retesting the July 20 lows.

If support from the broader market continues to weaken, we could see DOGE go to the lower support at $0.22. The coin will test this support, and it could prompt buying pressure from those who want to accumulate during the dip. If this does not happen, DOGE will move lower to levels below $0.20.

We could also see the overall bullish sentiment becoming stronger, in which case QNT could move towards an uptrend that could allow the coin to test the upper resistance of $0.25. This uptrend could ignite trader confidence that the coin will again go to highs of around $0.28 and $0.30.

The affiliation between DOGE and ethereum continues to increase; after Ethereum’s founder, Vitalik Buterin, stated that he was part of the Dogecoin Foundation, Matt Wallace has stated that his non-fungible token (NFT) initiative will bring dogecoin even closer to ethereum.

Matt Wallace, a popular crypto YouTuber, has stated that his DogeX NFTs will introduce the dogecoin community to ethereum, which will have a major benefit to dogecoin prices.
