Speakers

Dan Andersson
Founder, LEO and LEOcoin
Learning Enterprises Organisation Limited (LEO) was founded on the belief that inside everyone there is a budding entrepreneur demanding to get out. LEO provides education and skills training to those who want to improve their business skills and to those who want to run their own businesses. One of the barriers to growth for small and medium sized businesses, especially brick-and-mortar merchants, is the high transaction costs demanded by financial intermediaries such as banks, card and payment providers. Dan decided to provide merchants with a solution to this problem.

LEOcoin was born. With over 150,000 LEO Members in 42 countries holding LEOcoin and over 30,000 Merchants in 46 countries registered on LEO Marketplace to accept LEOcoin, it became clear that the ‘member only’ community of LEOcoin needed to be opened up to public participation.

Since April 2015, LEOxChange has been facilitating the trading of Bitcoin, LEOcoin and the major fiat currencies between LEO Members, Merchants and the public.
