George Urakhchin has been professionally building exchange & trading systems for over 4 years now, starting out at Chopper Trading in Chicago, IL out of the Board of Trade, and then moving to Coinsetter, a Bitcoin exchange in New York. He later quit the full-time work to pursue his own venture – Nolandia Trading – which works with existing digital currency exchanges and market participants to adopt best practices & widely used financial protocols (like FIX, ITCH, and Multicast). George graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a minor in Technology & Management.

Tone has been working on Wall Street for almost 10 years starting as a risk analyst at Bear Stearns and later becoming a VP at JP Morgan Chase in the aftermath of the financial crisis. His expertise is in Economic Trends, Trading and Risk Analysis. Ever since getting involved in Crypto Currencies in early 2013 he has been very active in spreading the relevance and importance of this technology to people looking to better understand the current financial system. Living in NYC, Tone is often found at the NYC Bitcoin Center and recently started speaks at Bitcoin Conferences globally. He is the Head of Research at BraveNewCoin where you can find his latest work after previously writing at CoinTelegraph. Tone still attempts to maintain his personal blog LibertyLifeTrail focused on sound economics, privacy, free-thinking and adventurous travel. Paul is currently Vice President at Pantera Capital and focuses on the firm’s venture investments. Since joining in 2014, Paul has helped to launch the firm’s second venture fund and has executed 11 investments. Paul is also a mentor at Boost VC, an accelerator in Silicon Valley started by Adam Draper and focused on seed stage Bitcoin companies, and a mentor at Golden Gate Ventures, an accelerator in Singapore. Prior to joining Pantera, Paul worked at Strive Capital as an Associate focusing on investments in the mobile space, including an early stage investment in App Annie. Previously, Paul was at Hatch Consulting and LECG and performed partnerships and growth for Urban Spoils, an early stage startup in the daily deal space.

Mr. Walsh is the founder of Redwood City Ventures, a Silicon Valley based advisory and investment firm targeting the Bitcoin ecosystem. His firm stimulates collaboration between the Chinese and American Bitcoin industries, and seeks to accelerate global Bitcoin adoption. In early 2015, Walsh left the award-winning private equity firm Bertram Capital to focus solely on Bitcoin. At Bertram, Walsh was responsible for Ecommerce, Online Marketing, Product Marketing, Growth Hacking, and Mobile Applications across more than a dozen operating companies in Bertram’s $1 Billion portfolio. In early 2011, he co-founded a division called Bertram Labs which was later recognized for disrupting the trillion-dollar private equity middle market.

Pierre is an experienced tech entrepreneur, executive and C-level advisor under ExecConnect, to numerous startups and large financial institutions exploring the FinTech ecosystem. With his extensive network of contacts among VCs, startups, and large institutions Pierre has facilitated numerous business transactions including investments, M&A, and strategic partnerships. Pierre has spent over 20 years working as a business and corporate development professional, starting with Reuters NewMedia in 1994 exploring business opportunities for Reuters on the Internet, meeting many of the pioneers who are now household names. He later joined First Virtual Holdings, the first Internet payment system that went public in December of 1996. Since 1998, Pierre has been on the management team of several venture funded companies (including Impulse! Buy Network (transactional ad network acquired by Inktomi), Revere Data (financial information service acquired by Factset), Impermium (social content classification tech acquired by Google)), where he led all business and corporate development activities. In addition to FinTech he has worked for companies involved in social media, e-commerce, content management and classification technologies, and AdTech. Pierre received his MBA from EDHEC Business School in Nice, France, and conducted his undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
