Anthony Pompliano Expects Bitcoin To Hit $100,000 By 2021

Bitcoin hit $13,000 again today when it comes to online trading prices. Because of this, we have the big prospectors making their massive predictions yet again.

What’s to come?

Well known cryptocurrency influencer Anthony Pompliano made his next claim to Yahoo! Finance, reports CCN. There, he claimed that we’ll see $20,000 is “the next level to watch” with the asset reaching $100,000 “by the end of 2021:”

“I think by the end of 2021 we’ll see it eclipse $100,000. The important thing to remember about bitcoin is that it’s a fixed supply asset and so supply and demand economics apply. If there are increases in demand, you’re going to see the price move up.”

Pompliano, who’s also a Partner at Morgan Creek Digital Assets, spoke even more on the market:

“It’s really bullish for the digital currency in the sense that the more important part of the announcement is not Libra, it’s Calibra, which is the digital wallet that Facebook is reportedly going to give to hundreds of millions of people, if not billions of people.

That wallet I think will eventually support bitcoin, ethereum (ETC-USD), tokenized securities and even data, so you can imagine something like your medical health records being tokenized and held in that wallet. I think it’s really important moment where we give hundreds of millions of people the capacity to hold crypto currencies.”

The influencer also believes that $20,000 will be the price that will really “pull people in”. This, of course, comes after the asset’s big price hike this year.

Keep in mind that earlier, Pompliano speaks on Facebook’s Libra as well. However, he talks more about the Bitcoin wallet, Calibra, instead. Facebook has billions of users on its platform across the world. Even a small amount of those moving into its Libra project will prove significant for its success. We’ll have to see what happens as time goes on.
